At 10h30 this morning two cars collided in a "t-bone" fashion at the corner of The Gore Road and Don Minaker Drive in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. One of the two drivers suffered serious injuries and was transported to a trauma center to treat them. Patients with most serious injuries suffered during traumatic events like accidents or assaults are transported to a trauma hospital rather than the closest hospital. In the GTA these are established as Sunnybrook Hospital and St. Michael's Hospital. Peel police had the intersection affected by the crash closed all ways until 1h pm to allow their collision reconstructionist team to conduct the necessary investigation.
