At midnight yesterday morning February 29th a heavy wind and rain storm transformed into frigid temperature overnight and left debris and damage across the entire Montréal region in Québec, Canada. In NDG damaged or stuck railroad crossing gates at Montreal-West train station disrupted traffic as cars accumulated in queue to cross the railway line. Several impatient drivers risked crossing the track both ways before officers from the public transit arrived on scene to conduct safety traffic duties.
