Early morning snow storm and fire incident simultaneously throws residents at risk out in the frigid temperature. A structure fire intervention amidst ongoing snowfall and windstorm that is affecting Southern Ontario and Québec, Canada leaving SIM crews an extra challenge to the already risky operation. Fire was declared in a residential building where senior and people at risk live at the corner of Upper Lachine Road and Highway 15 in Montréal. Numerous occupants were assessed by firefighters and helped out of the structure with the assistance of Urgences Santé. The fire was brought under control quickly and no serious injuries have been reported despite several paramedics being deployed at the ''sensitive'' scene.
