St-Sauveur: Building engulfed in flames before first due firetruck arrival 2-26-2021

At 7h pm on Friday evening the night sky illuminated with the glow of a powerful blaze ripping through a two story RE/MAX realty building at the corner of Principale Street and Lafleur Street in St-Sauveur, Canada. Upon arrival, the first firefighters on scene rushed to engage a defensive fire battle in front of the shocking unfolding scene located in the suburbs north of Montréal, Québec. A structure hosting the offices of Quebec home selling company was completely engulfed in heavy flames sometimes raging as high as twice the building height. A few stunned onlookers gathered around the impressive site while a few clever ones recorded the incredible moments on cellphone. Saint-Sauveur firefighters started to attempt extinguishing the fully involved building inferno only minutes after arriving but despite their rapidity, the building withstood what appears to be irreparable damage. But apart from structural destruction, no crew or occupants were injured during the incident.
