One person is dead after a shooting at the corner of Driftwood Avenue and Grandravine Drive in the North York neighborhood of Toronto, Canada. The notorious Jane and Finch area is yet another time the scene of a brazen murder in which the victim was declared dead on scene. Nobody was transported to hospital and no one else was injured in the incident. A crime scene perimeter has been set up with safety tape surrounding the entrance to an underground parking lot and the nearby lawn of a residential complex. The call came in at 9h30 this evening when police responded and found the patient with severe gunshot wound injuries. The gender, age or identification of the victim has not yet been made public by authorities and homicide investigators have taken the case.
