Raw footage walk into the early summer pine tree forest on fire in the municipality of McLeod Valley in May 2023. After a shorter winter and an early start to the wildfire season, people of the Prairies are struggling with blazes created by too much dry fuel. This in effect causes more catastrophic forest fires, closer to habitations in rural towns and thus a growing threat.
