Today the water crossed the line, the line that separates the US from us that is. Water rose and flooded the road at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Boundary Road in Abbotsford, Canada along with businesses and farmlands. The nearby Huntingdon Village has been spared so far and remains dry, partly due to the hard work of the Armed Forces that built a temporary sandbag dyke. Aerial imagery provides an incredible sight of the flood waters that are still currently spilling across the road and into fields below. Numerous curious residents came to observe the unfolding scene as news crews established makeshift base camp at the start of the water.
