Brampton: Biker killed in grim ending of long Thanksgiving weekend 10-11-2021

At 6h pm today a biker was killed when the motorcycle they were riding crashed at high speed into the side of a car at the corner of Cottrelle Blvd and Westbrooke Avenue in Brampton, Canada. First clues at the scene point to the thesis of a t-bone crash where a motorists typically makes a left turn and doesn't see a motorcycle approaching in the opposite direction. The horrific crash happened at sundown where the direction of the driver of the car would have had the sun in their eyes. According to emergency radio communications, first bystanders at the scene attempted life saving measures on the driver of the motorbike doing CPR chest compression until the arrival of firefighters. Paramedics and police officers were also all hands on deck for the severe high impact accident that occurred in the last hours of the Thanksgiving long weekend. The victim has been pronounced dead in hospital after being transported in an emergency run by Peel paramedics. The driver of the car also remains in non life-threatening condition at a hospital and the intersection will remain closed by the PRP accident reconstruction team for the time being.
