On Monday September 12th 2022 Constable Andrew Hong was ambushed and shot dead at a Tim Horton's restaurant at the corner of Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Blvd in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The twenty year veteran of the Toronto Police Services was on a lunch break during a day of training in the neighboring city. The perpetrator went on a shooting rampage that left another person dead, believed to be the employer of the suspect. He was later shot dead by Hamilton Police officers in that city one hour west of Toronto. Footage filmed today Wednesday shows the crime scene in Mississauga still being held by Peel Regional Police.
