Scary incident Friday night 10h pm November 28th when a car caught fire at the edge of the Ville-Marie Tunnel in the downtown Montréal, Canada core. The intervention happened in the westbound lanes of Highway 136 and fortunately left no one injured. Firefighters dealt with smoke accumulated in the busy underground road but did not need a foam truck as per standard tunnel procedures mentioned by the 911 dispatch center. Live traffic continued rolling in the slow lanes while the vehicle ablaze came to a stop in the fast lanes.
