At 7h45 tonight two people were shot at a townhouse complex at the corner of Kipling and Mt Olive in Etobicoke. One of the patients died at the scene and the other currently lay in critical condition in hospital. Police cordoned off a perimeter around the homes involved while other officers searched for clues with spot lights. A spur of recent gun violence in the past few days have left numerous people hurt with gunshots and others killed. Shortly after this shooting tonight, another person was shot on Shoreham Court in North York at 9h15 and suffered serious injuries.
