At noon yesterday a multi vehicle collision left one person dead and multiple others injured in Flamborough, a community north of Hamilton in Ontario, Canada. Three cars and one transport truck collided at the intersection of H6 and Carlisle Road shutting down both affected roadways in all directions. OPP police say that one female in her twenties was declared dead on scene while two other patients were transported to hospital in critical life-threatening condition. Two other patients suffered non life-threatening injuries and the roadway was shut for the most part of the day. Investigators have opened a case and it appears that the cause of the crash was due to a large van ramming vehicles that were stopped at a red light.
