Every Saturday since 2018 angry people under the ''Gilets Jaunes'' umbrella in French or ''Yellow Vests'' in English to protest against what was initially a tax increase on fuel. Workers from across the country of France clashed with police in violent riots that exploded immediately after the start of the first Saturday of protest on November 17th 2018. High intensity violent riots erupted in the French capital of Paris, the city of lights early in the movement when the most violence was reported. Footage in this collection was filmed on a two-week span in April and May 2019 in the cities of Paris, France and Strasbourg, France.
