Hemet: Driving in the deluge that extinguished the Fairview fire 9-11-2022

Raw dashcam footage filmed at 3h pm yesterday Sunday September 11th on day 7 of the Fairview fire in Hemet, California, USA. On Friday, storm Kay brought considerable amounts of rain that extended into the weekend and less wind than anticipated. The Fairview fire raging since Monday was in greater part extinguished by the rain and a combination of relentless efforts by Cal Fire authorities. Images show the darkened hills of Oak Drive near Valerio Road during torrential downpour during a thunderstorm that rolled over Red Mountain yesterday. Weird weather phenomenon like those of this weekend are not only rare but couldn't have happened at a better time and place as this monster inferno could have continued to wreak havoc in the Riverside County.
