Karma at its best today out of Longueuil, Québec, Canada where a man who spent over a year behind bars for driving offences among others was killed in a car crash. Two occupants of a sedan this morning at 1h am crashed at high speed into a power pole and a concrete wall killing themselves in the process and injuring no one else. One of them, unknown if the driver today, was a recidivist who had been convicted of dangerous driving in a police chase a few years ago. Ironically the second occupant was also a convicted reckless driver so the pair took themselves out and made the road safer for other motorists and pedestrians. The car in mangle was cut off at the roof by firefighters at the SSIAL using the jaws of life while officers from the SPAL established a safety perimeter at the intersection of Jean-Paul Vincent and Marie-Victorin in the early moments after impact early this morning. This afternoon footage filmed at the scene shows the investigation in its final stage as the wreck is being carried away by a flatbed tow truck and a police vehicle.
