Saturday July 20th 2024 after the fireworks competition at La Ronde a nearby leisure vessel encountered engine problems and had to be helped by SSIAL Longueuil fire department water rescue officers. Crews pulled the ponton with 6 occupants on board to safety and no injuries were reported.
