On Thursday night October 26th 2023 a queue of swat police vehicles were spotted in the city of Lewiston, Maine, USA making their way at regular speed with no lights and sirens towards a house on Meadow Road in Bowdoin. Upon arrival heavily armed tactical police officers disembarked and positionsed around a country home in a rural area where fugitive suspect mass shooter Robert Card was believed to have taken shelter. A three-hour long standoff operation ensued during which media were asked to turn off all lighting equipment to prevent unwanted distractions in the dark night at the end of which no suspect were located.
