Montréal: Aftermath of St-Henri 4 alarm fire is a frozen vacant block of ice 1-15-2022

One day after a 4 alarm fire heavily damaged a residential block in Montréal, a daytime view offers a stunning sight of extreme winter firefighting conditions. Icicles have formed over all objects touched by water as temperatures dropped below -20C at the time of the incident last night. Crews converged at the three story apartment building at the corner of St-Henri Street and Palm Avenue in the South-West district of Montréal, Québec, Canada last night at 11h pm. SIM firemen fought the four alarm blaze successfully but in challenging conditions of extreme cold weather, as most of Eastern North America at the moment. All residents of the structure evacuated safely and no serious injuries were reported.
