At 6h pm last night SIM fire crews were tied up with a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Place Versailles shopping mall at the corner of the Trans Canada Highway and Sherbrooke Street in Montreal, Canada. Upon arrival they discovered a fully involved pickup truck in flames with no immediate exposures from other cars or buildings. Fire truck unit 240 battled the blaze as a single apparatus in the parking lot of Maxi store and flames eventually died down. No injuries were reported and the incident is not believed to be in relation to any wrongdoing.
