At 8h00 am Saturday morning Sept 10th a tragic and perhaps reckless collision left two people dead on Sherbrooke Street at the corner of Des Ormeaux Street in Montréal, Québec, Canada. The first victim, 39 year old Matumona Ngoma who was a pedestrian at the time was struck at high velocity when the driver of a car drifted off the road while going at speeds above 100km/h in a 50 zone. The car then crashed into the side of a brick building and became embedded in a Couche-Tard location killing the sole occupant and trapping his body inside the wreck. An autopsy is currently underway to find out the cause of the crash.
