Apparatuses from the SIM spotted responding to the site of a 4 alarm fire in the downtown core of Montréal, Québec, Canada. Firefighters responded to a vacant residential three story building on Sherbrooke Street West at the corner of Bleury Street. In the following hours the incident was upgraded to a fourth alarm fire that mobilized dozens of emergency vehicles and left traffic in a commuting nightmare. In the downtown core of the city, Sherbrooke Street was entirely shut down both ways to allow crews to battle the flames in an offensive attack. No injuries were reported and the 10-10 code was given the same day after a lengthy battle.
