An ongoing heat wave has triggered serious wildfires in Europe as forests and woodlands have now been burning extensively since mid July. Footage filmed on July 25th 2022 shows flames burning through forests of tall mature pine trees near the village of Sao Marcos Da Serra. This area located in the Faro District of south of Portugal has been one of the most affected by recent wildfires that left one person dead in the country so far.
