Incredible weather event in the rain storm dubbed ''Debby'' left roads and bridges broken throughout the Southern Québec area of Canada and the North-Eastern United States. Pictured here in this immersive video is the result of over 100 mm of rain that fell in hours on Friday August 9th 2024 in St-Alexis-des-Monts, a small municipality between Montréal and Trois-Rivières in Québec, Canada. Boulders and trees collapsed onto Rang Des Pins Rouges 5 kilometers south of the Des Pins entrance to Mastigouche Ecological Reserve at 9h pm Friday night. Witnesses and motorists stranded in the aftermath became stuck on either side of the road as emergency personnel used a bulldozer to clear a path for vehicles only in case of emergencies. The road was shut for days as engineers conducted an investigation to determine whether there was any additional danger before reopening.
