At 4h30 pm yesterday an explosion rocked an industrial area of Rexdale detonating several propane gas tanks and igniting a fierce fire. TFS crews responded at the corner of Racine Rd and Brydon Dr in the Rexdale sector of Etobicoke, a neighborhood in Toronto, Canada and found heavy flames raging at the back of a tool renting facility building. They engaged in a defensive mode fire battle and evacuated a large portion of the sector due to imminent danger. No injuries were caused around working personnel or fire crews who faced 30+ degree heat during this incident.
