At 9h pm last night the driver of a car was left uninjured after the vehicle drove onto a snow mound and was launched before landing on its roof. The unusual accident happened in the eastbound service lanes of Highway 40 at the Lacordaire exit in the St-Léonard neighborhood of Montréal, Québec, Canada. Firefighters from the SIM fire department covering the wide Island of Montréal area intervened by utilizing wooden blocks in a special technique to stabilize the wrecked car from causing further damage or injury. No significant injuries were reported and the traffic resumed shortly after.
