Fire broke out on September 26th 2023 on the south slopes of Baldy Mountain in Ste-Adèle, a high denivelation terrain 100 kilometers north of Montréal, Québec, Canada. An accidental cause is suspected as for the origin of the fire that occurred near a hiking trail occasionally used for overnight stays by nature enthusiasts. Sopfeu aircrafts were spotted applying water onto the flames which contributed to the slow down of the progression of the wildfire. Images were filmed one day after its start on September 27th at 6h pm.
