Last night on Saturday evening a higher than usual number of public incidents kept crews busy around the GTA as people celebrated one of the last weekend before the winter. Among other types of calls, police dealt with numerous reports of dangerous fireworks activity and grouping. A car meet ended up in drivers drifting and doing donuts in the deserted parking lot of the Woodbine Casino at the corner of Highway 427 and Rexdale Boulevard in north west Toronto, Canada. Unruly drivers left the site before authorities could intervene and fortunately nobody was hurt in the careless display. Meanwhile, only a few hundred meters away, two people were killed when a car crashed at high velocity and burst in flames on Highway 427 south of the Derry Road / Rexdale Boulevard interchange: youtu.be/CRJngbW5MSk
