At 2h pm Saturday May 14th 2022 fire broke out at a large two story house on Clearbrooke Circle in the Islington and 401 area of Etobicoke in the neighborhood of Rexdale in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. One of two occupants evacuated within the first moments of the ordeal while another remained trapped and had to be rescued by TFS firefighters. One victim was transported to hospital in critical condition while the other suffered non life-threatening injuries. Over one hundred firefighters battled the blaze that eventually was upgraded to a fourth alarm fire after having propagated to a nearby house.
