At 1h pm yesterday afternoon the funerals for fallen police officer Constable Jeffrey Northrup were held at the BMO Field stadium in downtown Toronto. An emotional ceremony had hundreds of officers from various police departments across Canada present along with Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Toronto Mayor John Tori and Chief of TPS James Kramer who all spoke. They, along with other colleagues underlined the accomplishments and regular day to day atmosphere that it was to work with the 31 year veteran of the force. A beautiful display of respect was created by numerous officials lining up along the way out of the protocollary event.
