At 10:00 last night Toronto Fire Services responded to a structure fire call, only to declare it a 2nd alarm prior to arrival. On the Bloor bridge viaduc at the corner of Kipling, crews observed dark smoke and flames coming from a building on fire and struck the second alarm response. First due apparatuses were seen setting up command post and aerial ladders over the already raging fire, as seen in these images filmed early at the scene. People gathered outside of the building ablaze at Del's Pastry on Bering Ave east of Judge Rd and stood on a street corner stunned to see the incredible unfolding events. No injuries have been reported and fire investigators have opened a case to try to determine the origin of the serious blaze.
