Low visibility today Monday June 5th 2023 in the Greater Toronto Area as uncontrollable and record breaking wildfires burn through the provinces of Québec and Ontario in Eastern Canada. The biggest city in the country portrayed here is enveloped by a misty haze created by drifting smoke from recently ignited forest fires. This triggered authorities to declare an alert for people with breathing difficulties and the elderly as air quality could continue deteriorating. Elevated footage filmed at 3h pm this afternoon over the neighborhood of North Etobicoke in Toronto shows a barely noticeable skyline in the distance and the CN Tower partially hidden by the smoke particles floating in the air.
