West Island: SIM nautical rescue boats out on the water for double intervention 7-31-2022

At 3h pm today the SIM nautical rescue boats (sauvetage nautique in French) were spotted at a small marina in the West Island sector of Montréal, Québec, Canada for an operation that turned into a second one. Initially, firefighters were deployed at the intersection of Lakeshore Boulevard and Cartier Avenue in Pointe-Claire to assist a capsized boat. Upon arrival and after determining that no one was injured in the capsized boat, they observed a sailboat in distress. No one was injured in that secondary incident, the sailboat and the overturned boats were taken in charge by the Canadian Coast Guard.
