No April's fools this year as a very real snow storm wreaked havoc on most of north eastern United States and eastern Canada from April 3rd at night to the 5th in the morning. Heaviest snowfall was reported in the morning hours of April 4th between 2h am and 10h am when residents of Montréal and its suburbs woke up with 30 cm (12 inches) of snow covering the city. Powerline linemen and cable TV crews worked relentlessly to recover power and services to the region in the hours and days following the natural disaster.
