Three days into the catastrophic start of two major wildfires in Los Angeles, California, the Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire and the flames were still visible from miles away as viewed in footage captured from an airplane upon westbound landing at LAX. The Palisades Fire ignited at 10h30 am on January 7th and the Eaton Fire later the same day, both spreading uncontrollably and leaving dozens dead in their paths. Death toll has risen to 25 people declared dead and another additional number of about 25 people still missing as of today, Wednesday January 15th 2025.
