At 2h30 pm on Sunday October 24th, fire broke out at an industrial yard in the center of Sao Paulo, the biggest city in Brazil with 12 million inhabitants. Firefighters battled the fire in challenging condition as several vehicles burned behind a thick concrete wall. Reports say that flames had spread through numerous trucks and buses parked at the yard. Traffic was halted in the area of Dom Pedro Avenue and Teresa Cristina Avenue in the center of the busy metropolis located near Ipiranga Parque Independência. Thick toxic dark smoke was billowing and carried away by strong winds as crews attempted to dose the flames. Firemen used a demolition mass to knock pieces of the foot thick concrete wall and apply water by inserting the hose's nozzle. Curious onlookers gathered to observe the unfolding action and nobody was injured during the incident. Video was recorded without sound.
