At 3h pm this afternoon, a minor train derailment had Humberline Drive shut to vehicular and pedestrian traffic north of the Finch Ave intersection in North Etobicoke, a neighborhood of Toronto, Canada. In a tweet by TPS, it was explained that the minor incident left no one injured and that a crane was needed to elevate one of the train cars. Some of the heavy locomotives came to a rest right on the roadway rail crossing rendering it inoperable for motorists and pedestrians. The normally busy roadway was closed for most of the afternoon and re-opened in the early evening.
